Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven M&A Director to lead strategic M&A transactions in the metals & mining and oil & gas sectors with a geographic focus on the CIS and Middle East. This role requires a professional with a strong track record of closed deals and a deep understanding of industrial value chains and sector dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of M&A and strategic investment deals
- Manage deal structuring negotiations due diligence and closing processes
- Build and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities in the target sectors
- Present investment cases and recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Collaborate with external advisors legal counsel and technical consultants
- Monitor industry developments geopolitical trends and macroeconomic risks
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate M&A M&A advisory investment banking or private equity
- Proven track record of successfully closed transactions in metals & mining and/or oil & gas - deal sheet required
- In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of operational commercial and regulatory aspects of the sectors
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent negotiation leadership and communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Finance Economics or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus)
- Fluency in English and Russian
