The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Office Assistant in the Belknap Building for the School of Arts Sciences and Education. This role will be responsible for supporting the Deans Office and Belknap faculty and staff with administrative and student-facing tasks while helping to create a welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain real-world experience in the logistics of partnering with the faculty and staff on campus and youll join a team that supports you in your journey here at SNHU.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the supply stock and organizing the Belknap project room
Making popcorn for events
Supporting faculty and clubs when setting up for events
Directing students and visitors to rooms and offices within Belknap
Support the Deans Suite with classroom schedule postings
Maintain the borrowed text locked cabinet
Maintain the classroom supplies (caddies poster paper)
Central reporting person for building issues
Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment in classes within a degree program at SNHU
Federal Work-Study as part of the financial aid package
Reliable
Friendly professional demeanor with a passion for helping others.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an organized and clean office environment.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours for students and work-study funds.
The student worker will report directly to the Administrative Manager Laura Couch and Dr. Abigial Bergen the Education Department Chair and will receive guidance training and support through their employment.
Hours: 5-20 hours/week
Wage: $12.50

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills qualifications experience and internal equity in addition to relevant business considerations.Part-Time
