Job Description
Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Position Title to join the Department Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!
Located in one of Atlantas most prestigious neighborhoods this Forbes 4-Star and AAA 4-Diamond hotel is a 42-story tower with over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences) over 10000 square feet of meeting space and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant bar and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various - must have availability to work weekdays weekends and holidays.
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
What will I be doing
As a Cook you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Manage guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed

Able to handle service and stay organized in a busy restaurant

Quick learner who wants to experience all the stations and cuisines.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years in the culinary department of a luxury hotel or restaurant
Able to work within the guidelines of the companys safety program

Flexible work hours to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
