Position Overview: The Mechanical Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations managing mechanical site leads and their crews on various solar ESS and construction projects. The successful candidate will be in the field approximately 75% of the time ensuring effective execution compliance and efficiency and will dedicate the remaining 25% to coordinating with upper management and internal company resources.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and professional development to mechanical site leads and field crews.
Schedule and allocate crews and resources effectively.
Read interpret and verify project compliance against plans and OEM specification sheets.
Develop and implement structured programs for team management communication protocols and approval processes.
Regularly review and verify daily reports submitted by site leads.
Monitor and approve timecards ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Proactively coordinate with site leads to establish project goals and manage labor hours within allocated budgets.
Communicate consistently with upper management regarding project statuses resource requirements and potential issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in solar ESS or construction industries.
Proven track record of team leadership professional development and effective crew management.
Demonstrated experience in scheduling and resource allocation.
Strong ability to interpret plans specifications and technical documentation.
Excellent communication organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in standard office software and reporting tools.
Additional Information:
Work truck and gas card provided.
Frequent travel to project sites required (approx. 75%).
Location: Field-based with periodic coordination from company offices.
Salary: $90000 - $115000/yr
