Minimum Qualifications:
Business terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent) college of business conferred by the time the candidate begins the position
Senior executive experience with leadership responsibilities strategic decision-making and a deep understanding of business operations and goals
Qualifications enabling them to be classified as a Scholarly Academic or Practice Academic under AACSB standards such as recent Ph.D. attainment publications and/or sustained professional engagement through outreach consulting or industry-facing activities
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. from an institution with an R1 Carnegie Classification conferred by the time the candidate begins the position
Experience teaching at the university level
Evidence of high-quality undergraduate teaching in a business school
Active involvement in scholarly and academic conference paper presentations

In Fall 2025 the Department of Marketing will include 25 full-time faculty members recognized for both award-winning teaching and impactful research. The department supports a robust portfolio of academic programs including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration a Master of Science in Marketing and a Ph.D. in Marketing.
