The Amazon Kids team builds innovative products and services for children ages 3-12 and their caregivers. Kids is available across Amazon Fire Tablets Fire TV Echo devices and Kindles and is an integral component to Kids Edition Devices (Tablet Echo and Kindle) which are built from the ground up just for children. As our Data Science Manager you will lead a team of Data Scientists and Business Intelligence Engineers responsible for business forecasts planning and retention modeling. You will drive the data and analytics strategy of the organization. The right candidate will have experience building teams growing individuals and working across a diverse set of stakeholders.

- 5 years of building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager experience - 2 years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience - 5 years of applying statistical models for large-scale application and building automated analytical systems experience - Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language
- Experience in a least one area of Machine Learning (NLP Regression Classification Clustering or Anomaly Detection) - Experience with fairness in machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect and remove bias in ML/AI systems
