Job Description
Were seeking a meticulous female Cleanerto become a part of our team at Donwood Community Aged Care in Croydon on a permanent part time this role you will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties such as vacuuming mopping dusting and cleaning surfaces and fixtures. You will also be responsible for bathroom duties and providing essential maintenance support when required.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role have great attention to detail and have good organizational skills. We require someone to be available Mon Tue and Wed 6.30am - 2.30pm.
Cleaner Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vacuum mop dust and clean surfaces and fixtures
- Performing designated cleaning duties such as dusting sweeping and mopping in assigned areas. This includes stocking supplies cleaning ceiling vents and restroom maintenance
- Routine inspection and maintenance activities are performed and recorded
- Undertaking intensive cleaning duties and special assignments
- Informing management of any occurring problems or need for repairs
- Upkeeping/stocking cleaning products in designated storage areas
- Keeping your workplace tidy and clean at all times
- Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Work together with the other staff members
- Must have experience working in a similar role
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowing how to read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
- High school degree
- Physical fitness and manual dexterity skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good customer service skills
- Reliability
