Job Description
Providence Staffings client is seeking a skilled Trial Attorney to join their well-established law firm in Columbus GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional looking to advance their career with a reputable firm. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are available for the right candidate.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Monitor legal risk in documentation and provide guidance on acceptable assumptions of risk.
- Interpret laws rulings and regulations for natural and juristic persons.
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting evidence.
- Ensure appropriate approvals are secured before executing legal documents.
- Explain legal matters and provide sound legal advice.
- Represent clients in arbitration or mediation hearings.
- Draft review and manage legal documents including wills trusts estates contracts and deeds.
- Handle regulatory and compliance-related matters.
- Deliver innovative legal solutions to complex client challenges.
- Represent clients in civil or criminal court proceedings.
- Manage and supervise paralegals and legal assistants.
- Prepare pleadings file notices and appear in court as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience litigating and trying personal injury cases including jury trials.
- Graduate of an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Georgia.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Georgia though remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
