The Global Head of the High-Tech Industry Business Unit (IBU) at SAP is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end go-to-market strategy execution and global business performance in the High-Tech industry segment. This executive will lead the global industry business plan align with regional leadership teams and collaborate with ecosystem partners to deliver business growth and innovation.
As the global industry expert the IBU Head will champion customer success across the full Customer Value Journey (CVJ) empower global teams through enablement and best practices and represent the voice of the High-Tech customer to influence SAPs innovation roadmap. This leader will elevate SAPs position as a trusted partner and thought leader within the High-Tech community.
Strategy & Leadership:
Define and drive a compelling global strategy and multi-year business plan for the High-Tech industry.
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to C-level customers influencing key transformation initiatives.
Align global and regional teams to strategic objectives to achieve revenue and customer success goals
Customer Engagement & Innovation Influence:
Serve as the executive sponsor for strategic customers fostering long-term relationships.
Capture market trends and customer insights to shape SAPs innovation and portfolio strategy.
Guide customers across the Customer Value Journey delivering tangible business outcomes
Go-to-Market Execution:
Lead the development and execution of global demand generation programs including customer storytelling industry plays and campaigns.
Drive scalable sales plays aligned with regional execution and performance targets.
Collaborate closely with Marketing Product Engineering and Partner teams to ensure cohesive execution
Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Influence:
Represent SAP externally through keynotes panels and media engagements.
Build and scale industry thought leadership by publishing impactful content and guiding enablement initiatives.
Cultivate strategic partnerships and drive ecosystem-led growth and innovation
Enablement & Best Practice Sharing:
Equip the global field with industry-specific tools assets and sales training.
Share global best practices to scale customer success and accelerate adoption
15 years of leadership experience in the High-Tech industry ideally across sales strategy consulting or product management.
Deep understanding of digital transformation trends and business models in High-Tech (e.g. semiconductors electronics devices hardware SaaS/Cloud).
Proven success leading global go-to-market or industry-specific initiatives with measurable impact.
Exceptional executive communication stakeholder alignment and customer engagement skills.
Strong business acumen and experience influencing product and innovation strategy.
Inspirational leader with a track record of building high-performing cross-functional teams

Compensation Range Transparency: SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 271800 - 462100(USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
