Job Description

Job Title: CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Specialist)


Responsibilities:

    • Deliver goods and food products to storesensuring accuracy and documenting discrepancies.
    • Safely operate and maintain various truck typesadhering to traffic lawsDOT regulationsand company policies.
    • Pre-trip inspections & post-trip documentation.
    • Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and other equipment.
    • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and store personnel.
    • Complete Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries accurately and timely.
    • Perform light vehicle maintenance taskssuch as checking fluids and tire pressure.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding of traffic lawsDOT regulationsand safe driving practices.
    • Proven experience using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
    • Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsfostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • Dependabilitypunctualityand commitment to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Education Experience and Age Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Valid CDL (Class ABor C) with a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
    • Minimum age of 21 years old.
    • At least six months of relevant experience in delivery truck driving preferred.
