Job Description
Job Title: CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Specialist)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods and food products to storesensuring accuracy and documenting discrepancies.
- Safely operate and maintain various truck typesadhering to traffic lawsDOT regulationsand company policies.
- Pre-trip inspections & post-trip documentation.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and store personnel.
- Complete Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries accurately and timely.
- Perform light vehicle maintenance taskssuch as checking fluids and tire pressure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of traffic lawsDOT regulationsand safe driving practices.
- Proven experience using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsfostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Dependabilitypunctualityand commitment to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
Education Experience and Age Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid CDL (Class ABor C) with a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least six months of relevant experience in delivery truck driving preferred.
- At least six months of relevant experience in delivery truck driving preferred.
