Job Description
The SAP Security Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with coporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
LOCATION:
Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city centrewhere we are currently setting up a new office location. Until the office is fully set-up within the next few months you will have the possibility to work flexibly from home-office and continue with a hybrid working model afterwards.
This position is not a fully remote position and an onsite presence will be required once our office location is ready.
Creating passion: your responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures covering access control data protection and threat mitigation
- Define and enforce SAP security policies standards and procedures across the organization in alignment with the Information Security Framework
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls within SAP environments based on risk
- Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions
- Identify and drive security enhancements in SAP platforms (e.g. S/4HANA ECC BW Fiori)
- Collaborate closely with SAP development engineering IT operations and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SAP lifecycle
- Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the Coporate Information Security architecture community sharing insights and best practices
- Stay current with SAP security trends vulnerabilities and regulatory requirements
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters in Cybersecurity Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on SAP environments
- Following certificates are preferred; CISSP CISM or SAP certifications
- English is a Must German and French are a plus
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001 NIST)
- Deep expertise in SAP security best practices including user and role management authorization concepts and secure configuration
- In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA RISE ECC and other SAP modules and their security implications
- Experience designing secure architectures for both cloud-based and on-premise SAP deployments
- Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
