Job Description
As a Technology Cloud Engineer you will participate in the selection implementation and management of cloud technologies to ensure optimal performance reliability and security. This role requires hands-on experience in cloud platforms scripting and infrastructure technologies to support and enhance the organizations cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the selection and implementation of new cloud technologies
- Ensure that cloud solutions meet security and technology standards
- Conduct and resolve break/fix issues within the cloud environment
- Develop and follow standard maintenance procedures
- Escalate high-impact issues and provide options for resolution
- Analyze cloud technology to optimize performance reliability and scalability
- Contribute to defining cloud governance and standards
- Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for vendor management
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience in cloud engineering or a related job discipline
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP connectivity and security principles
- Experience with scripting and automation languages such as Python PowerShell Terraform Bicep and ARM
- You should be knowledgeable about server technology and infrastructure. This includes understanding systems without servers such as Azure Functions and Lambda. You should also be aware of containers and load balancers.
- Preferred certifications: Azure/AWS Fundamentals Azure/ AWS Administrator
