Back-End Developer
Location: Noida India or Belgrade Serbia Company: Sigma World Group
About Us
At Sigma World Group we are building a brand-new digital platform and looking for a
skilled Back-End Developer to join us at this early and exciting stage. You will work closely
with our Solutions Architect and Front-End Developer to ensure a scalable secure and
high-performing back-end that powers the platforms core features.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side components using and TypeScript
Integrate the back-end with the front-end ensuring smooth data flows and
performance
Design document and maintain database structures
Implement basic security best practices and data protection measures
Optimize server-side performance for scalability and reliability
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure clean maintainable code
Required Skills & Qualifications
3 years of back-end development experience with and TypeScript
Strong understanding of server-side logic REST principles and data handling
Experience with relational or non-relational databases (e.g. MongoDB
PostgreSQL or similar)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
Familiarity with test automation tools like Jest or Mocha
Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens
(JWT)
Experience with WordPress and Gutenberg editor customization (optional)
