About the Company

Civmec is an Australian-owned integrated multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider to the energy resources infrastructure marine and defence sectors. The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team working across various construction and maintenance projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform mechanical repairs and servicing of various civil and workshop plant and machinery
Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
Maintain stock of hydraulic mechanic electronic and pneumatic materials
Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
Conduct marking and lining out
Perform planning tasks as requested

About You

You will be based in Perth Western Australia
Relevant Certificates / Trade certificates
Working a heights ticket (desirable)
Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
3 years construction experience in the mining and resources sector
Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
Complete a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement. The hourly rate commences at $42.82 Penalties.
