Office of Federal Support & Grantee Relations

Job Focus Area
The Administrative Program Specialist B is located in the Division of Federal Support and Grantee Relations. This position will be responsible for providing administrative and specialized programmatic support for the Division. Additionally the Administrative Program Specialist B will serve as a supervisor to the other Administrative Program Specialist A/B within the FSGR Division. The successful candidate will be a leader that has the ability to be flexible multitask work with many personalities and support a team culture.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with time and attendance and experience utilizing multiple state procurement platforms (i.e. metastorm lagov and leo).

Minimum Qualifications

Four years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

A bachelors degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

An advanced degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
A typical day for the Administrative Program Specialist B will include the following:


Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational Promotional or Job Appointment. The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office. Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment if selected.


Work Schedule: Workdays are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
