The Role
Ororas Cans business is growing! With rising demand across Australia New Zealand and Oceania were investing $140M into our Rocklea facility ensuring we can continue to meet growing customer needs. This investment includes a new high-speed can body line boosting our capacity by 13% and featuring cutting-edge decoration and quality systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Rocklea into the Mechanical Supervisor and working 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday theDay Fitterresponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- On-going maintenance of machinery equipment and services to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production Quality Spoilage).
- Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
- Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic - Leading by example and setting standards for the health safety and wellbeing.
- Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.
About You
- Mechanical Trade Certificatewith Advanced Certificate preferred
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player with excellent communication problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Be able to meet requirements of Ororas pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
