Under general supervision from the Regional Training and Support Manager provide training and support for external vital records stakeholders including county vital records offices hospitals and health systems coroners and medical examiner and funeral homes. Provide training on the use of electronic registration systems and educate stakeholders on the legal requirements for fulfilling their vital records-related duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (overall tasks and expectations of the position):
High school diploma/GED and completion of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at an accredited college or university AND one year of experience facilitating training sessions both in-person and online OR completion of a public speaking or communication course to effectively deliver trainings and create materials OR any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.

The use of physical activity breaks during the workday is authorized to support this philosophy and assist employees in meeting their wellness goals.A maximum of 30 minutes of physical activity can be allocated per workday typically in the form of two 15-minute breaks or one 30-minute break.

DPH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) as valid. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degrees diplomas licensures and other relevant credentials.
The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening JR1and a criminal background check.
