Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as a Psychiatric Aide 3 providingdirect care to clients receiving substance use treatment in our inpatient 24-hour residential facility. This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity residential substance use treatment program located in Mandeville Louisiana.We are seeking a dedicated individual willing to work part-time (PRN) with flexible hours including some weekends. Minimum Qualifications
Eighteen months of experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care; OR
Nine semester hours of college coursework in a social sciences field education social work child guidance or nursing; OR
One year of experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care plus a Behavioral Health Aide Diploma from a vocational technical college with an approved curriculum from the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Providedirect nursing-aidecoverage on the unit working collaboratively with other clinical and administrative staff.
- Take vital signs perform room checks and collect urine drug screens or urinalysis by order of physician or charge nurse
- Ensureclients stay on schedule with labs and clinical appointments
- Maintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Monitor and/or audit chart orders
- Create and prepare documentation for clients with special dietary needs.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Classified WAE (When Actually Employed or PRN)
Career Progression: This position will be filled as a Psychiatric Aide 3.
Compensation: This position is limited to 1245 hours in a 12 month period. This position shall be compensated shift differential rates for actual hours worked. These rates have been established by the FPHSA policy and approved by the Civil Service Commission. Shift Differential Rates may range from $0.25/hour to $1.60/hour depending on both the shift and the day worked.
Location: Fontainebleau Treatment Center in Mandeville Louisiana.
