Minimum Qualifications
A current and valid drivers license with an eligible driving record Computer skills in the Google and Microsoft Office suite AND EITHER : High School diploma Four years of Public Safety Officer experience or Resident Assistant (RA) experience can substitute for up to one year of PSO experience OR: Associates degree Two years of Public Safety Officer experience or Resident Assistant (RA) experience can substitute for up to six months of PSO experience
Preferred Qualifications
A four year Bachelors degree Two years of demonstrated leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility Certified in first aid CPR AED Experience responding to varied dynamic stressful incidents and making critical decisions in a timely manner with limited supervision Demonstrable community engagement experience We seek creative adaptable staff who enjoy working in a university climate that promotes cultural diversity multicultural understanding and cultural fluency.
