SSWG operates two businesses within the water infrastructure space. Seven Seas Water which provides water treatment and desalination for governmental hospitality and industrial customers in United States Latin America and the Caribbean and the AUC Group () which provides decentralized water and wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal customers in the United States.

The Role
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of duties related to treasury risk management and other activities as management may deem necessary. The successful candidate will work with management to ensure timely and accurate cash management and reporting. This includes preparing accurate cash transfer needs by location ensuring appropriate cash levels for pending Company transactions and tracking intercompany transactions including pay down of debt and trade payables. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: highly detail-oriented analytical problem-solving skills results-driven with effective communication skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced complex environment.
Treasury:
Monitor overall liquidity and cash position for various SSW Group operations.
Manage intercompany cash transfers includes identifying cash available for transfers and ensuring efficient movement of cash to minimize the impact of cross border taxes.
Prepare weekly analysis of cash needs by location and initiate cash transfers ACHs and wires accordingly. Will require working closely with the Accounting and Accounts Payable department to ensure payments are processed and posted in a timely manner.
Monitor the Positive Pay Process and correct as needed.
Assisting with external banking relationships (opening/closing new accounts including management of the know-your-client process overseeing the update of signature cards and other banking forms assist in requesting/implementing new services and requesting/issuing of letters of credit).
Maintain a list of all bank accounts including:
-signature/approval rights on each account
- bank contacts for each account
Understand global banking practices including country specific regulations.
Assist with identifying and implementing solutions to minimize inefficiencies in Treasury operations.
Assist with creating establishing and maintaining global policies governing all finance and cash management activities.
Maintain the roll forward of intercompany balances ensuring that loan interest trade payables and other balances are identified appropriately to ensure efficient movement of cash between international subsidiaries.
Maintain intercompany loan agreements and review intercompany relationships to determine when new intercompany loan agreements are needed.
Preparation of intercompany interest calculation and journal entries.
Preparation of journal entries for adjustments related to the flow of intercompany transactions.
Preparation of quarterly intercompany clearing and related journal entries.
Other tasks and responsibilities in support of the Accounting and Tax teams as assigned.
Risk Management:
Assist with the annual insurance renewals including working with Management to compile requested information needed for the renewals.
Maintain current insurance certificates and deliver certificates to appropriate third parties as required.
Work with departments to understand our risk management needs.
Assist with other insurance and risk management reporting as required.
Qualification/Requirements:
Strong Excel and computer skills working with large data sets and pivot tables proficiency in Word and familiarity with general ledger financial reporting systems and online banking systems.
High degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to listen and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization both verbal and written.
Must demonstrate a history of accuracy with strong and consistent attention to detail as well as excellent organization skills.
Ideal candidate must be willing to dig into the details and have a strong analytical skill set.
Strong ability to multi-task and manage priorities daily.
Must possess the desire and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and produce quality work under tight deadlines.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Certified Treasury Professional preferred
2 4 years of relevant work experience
