We are seeking a motivated Automation QA Engineer I to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in test automation who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. Youll be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our automotive retail solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
Quality Assurance
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
- Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements.
- Perform functional regression integration and API testing.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and other QA engineers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives).
- Provide clear and concise reports on test execution results and quality metrics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java Python JavaScript or C#).
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium TestNG JUnit or similar).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman REST Assured or similar).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner).
- Experience with mobile application testing.
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
- Previous experience in the automotive or retail industry.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
