Minimum Qualifications:
- Level 1: Bachelors lieu of degree minimum of 6 years relevant experience (issue management or corrective action program use)
- Level 2: Bachelors Degree and two years of relevant experience (performance assurance corrective action system use or similar) or a Masters Degree or in lieu of degree minimum of 8 years relevant experience (issue management or corrective action program use)
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy L clearance which requires US Citizenship.

- The pay range for this position is: Level 1: ($56196 - $109644)/ Level 2: ($65064 - $133416). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education relevant experience and other credentials.

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an ATR Plant and Project Engineering Performance Assurance Coordinator to work at our Advanced Test Reactor Complex (ATR). Our team works 4x10 schedule located at our Advanced Test Reactor complex with every Friday off.
You will develop and implement performance monitoring processes and procedures to ensure safe impactful secure and efficient conduct of research. Perform analyses of various data sources to identify risks to overall INL mission outcomes. Recommend improvements in solving human performance issues and operational performance improvement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform programmatic assessments and post event investigations while supporting leadership in developing appropriate and sustainable corrective actions.
- Work with leadership to assess programmatic health and identify mitigations for risks and corrective actions for identified and self-revealing conditions.
- Implement all aspects of Performance Monitoring and Analyses including Issues Management Self-Assessment Lessons Learned Management Observations and event analyses.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring of existing Performance Assurance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and to drive improvements in those metrics analyses of various sources of operational data to proactively identify trends adverse to mission accomplishment and overall impact of the supported directorate development of dynamic dashboards representing operational and financial performance to Sr. Leadership identify process improvements in operations and process flows and develop schedules to track accomplishments toward annual program goals supporting the overall Enterprise Risk Management and Management Review Meeting (assessment of organizational performance and health) approach.
- Responsible for implementing program(s) within assigned directorate utilizing established processes and tools.
- Support data entry report generation date tracking email reminders document attachment assessment generation information gathering minute taking and other coordination activities as assigned.
- Support condition screening for noncompliance issues assigning trend codes and owning mission centers as directed.
- Serve as a liaison between individual contributors directorate leadership and the Performance Management organization as well as external customers and working groups. Work with leadership to both inform and mitigate identified risks as appropriate.
- Review performance and operational data sources to identify adverse trends and risks to mission accomplishment.
- Define Performance Assurance expectations of program(s) as well as provide the process tools training and program support to implement an effective program across all INL mission centers/organizations to ensure compliance with applicable DOE order(s) and provide analysis that enable INL leadership to make risk informed decisions.
- May implement an effective risk-based approach to protect INL security assets and activities against the consequences of attempted theft diversion terrorist attack industrial sabotage radiological sabotage chemical sabotage biological sabotage espionage unauthorized access compromise and other acts having an adverse impact on national security or the environment.
- May participate in inspections and assessments of equipment and processes to identify issues and risks identify corrective actions and work with line management to ensure effective closure of actions as well as to ensure maximum usage of program budgets. Work may focus on one of many areas including LabWay Contractor Assurance Management Observation Program Issues Management Program Process Safety Change Control Process Process Safety Inspection).
