WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our business processes through the strategic use of technology. This position reports to the Master Data Supervisor and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements troubleshoot and implement changes that drive efficiency and support business objectives.

JOB DUTIES:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• EDI Maintenance: Assisting the sales team with appropriate mapping to optimize sales order processing
• Product Information Management: Manage Finished Goods data and information between the ERP and different platforms like 1WorldSync.
• Data Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain Master data records including setting up items bill of materials customers and suppliers accounts as well as maintaining exception reports.
• User Support & Training: Provide support to end-users ensuring effective utilization of systems and tools.
• Price Management: Entering contract pricing for new and existing customers daily (The role entails extensive data entry responsibilities)
• Maintain customer and vendor accounts within the ERP and review any requests for changing payment terms.
• Create new and maintain existing GL Accounts within the ERP.
• Setting up capitalized assets within the ERP (equipment etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards)
• Strong attention to detail is essential as the role requires frequent and precise data entry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting. (PowerBI Pivot Tables VLOOKUP etc)
• Effective communicator with a collaborative team-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated detail-orientation ability to work quickly accurately and within deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

8:00 PM to 5:00 PM;Monday through Friday before/after hours weekends and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs.
