Job Description
HCA Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Physician EMS Director for our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program.
Qualified Candidates:
MD or DO - Program Leadership: Support and assist in the oversight of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program collaborating with two other EMS physicians to serve as a liaison between the department and EMS agencies.
Education and Outreach: Provide education and training to EMS personnel residents and medical students through lectures simulation and field experiences.
Support long term efforts to develop an EMS fellowship
Medical Direction: Offer clinical oversight protocol development and quality assurance for EMS operations.
Operational Support: Collaborate with EMS agencies to ensure optimal pre-hospital patient care and seamless integration with the Emergency Department.
Research and Advocacy: Support EMS-related research projects and advocate for advancements in pre-hospital care.
Disaster Preparedness: Participate in disaster planning and response initiatives in coordination with local and regional EMS agencies.
