DescriptionWe are seeking applicants for the VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation Manager position who will report to the Director of VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation. This role is responsible for managing continuous improvement and delivery of CRM product capabilities and providing strategy on initiatives and business processes that enable sales and services teams across the enterprise. The role also serves as a Lead Business Analyst and Salesforce Administrator and assists in managing product backlogs in an Agile Scrum project management environment.
The VIP Marketing Strategy and Innovation Manager will work collaboratively as part of a product team toensure success and client satisfaction and will help take lead on requirements gathering and solution architecture to extend the capabilities of our CRM tools. This position is part of a Caesars Entertainment Corporate VIP Marketing Enterprise Shares Services department that supports property Casino Marketing teams Player Development teams National Casino Marketing Inside Sales Digital VIP Hosts Hospitality Sales teams and other user groups that leverage Salesforce CRM products. The position is based in Las Vegas NV.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Heavily involved in Salesforce solution architecture as an administrator and internal consultant.
- Champion Salesforce/CRM Governance across the enterprise.
- Acting business analyst resource supporting an enterprise-wide common Salesforce backlog as part of an Agile product team.
- Assist with project management using Agile Kanban/Scrum methodologies. Managing in a fast-changing iterative and dynamic environment with many different stakeholders.
- Responsible foridentifying growth and efficiency opportunities within the VIP Marketing organization and helping to lead product design and deployment of innovative sales and service solutions on the Salesforce platform and other CRM products.
- Self-organizing and working effectively as an individual or with stakeholders to understand business needs and enterprise initiatives as they align to VIP Marketing capabilities and programing.
- Ability to listen to end-user desires/requirements and translate those into user stories that guide the creation of easy-to-use elegant sustainable solutions. Intense focus on the what and why first before being concerned with the how.
- Manage innovative projects from initial conceptualization through implementation communication and initial training.
- Recommend project prioritization to leadership ensuring high potential high return projects from a company perspective are implemented.
- Frequent collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including VIP Marketing Strategy & Support team members IT Delivery Resources Casino Marketing Leaders Analytics Scrum Team Members (Scrum Master) Casino Hosts Sales Executives Digital VIP teams consultants/vendors and more.
- Manage technical process reviews and acceptance testing to meet product roadmap goals and sprint deadlines.
- Being an empowered self-starter is critical to the success of the individual in this manager role.
- Providing guidance on what to build and when to build. Ensuring the work done by the team aligns with the wider business strategy.
- Ability to take directions as well as manage multiple direct reports collaboration is key.
- Strong technical creative and analytical approach to solving problems and troubleshooting end user concerns.
- While building new capabilities intense focus on the user experience is paramount to ensure a successful rollout and high user adoption.
- Process dynamic special projects as they arise with zeal and excitement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or related certification strongly preferred with a minimum of 3 years working on Salesforce products building or supporting capabilities.
- A minimum of 2-3 years professional work experience in product management with emphasis on marketing technology cloud-based CRM solutions or sales systems.
- Professional work experience in casino marketing loyalty marketing or the gaming industry strongly preferred but not required.
- Bachelors degree in marketing business technology hospitality or related areas of study preferred but not required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ability to accept ambiguous circumstances and act where answers to a problem are not readily apparent in a cool calm demeanor.
- Ability to analyze information problems situations practices or procedures to: define the user story or objective identify relevant concerns or factors identify patterns tendencies and relationships formulate logical and objective conclusions and recognize alternatives and their implications.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and framework used to manage complex projects and products.
- High level of understanding about how data works and an ability to manipulate data using a variety of tools including Salesforce SOQL Salesforce Data Loader Microsoft Access and Excel
- Strong project management skillset with the ability to manage in a fast-changing iterative environment with many different stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to communicate to both end-user and at the executive leadership level. Strong presentation skills.
- Proven problem solving conceptual thinking and analytical abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
- Adaptable to changing requirements changing timelines and deadlines.
- Ability to manage commitments across multiple projects.

- Qualified candidates will need to be an experienced CRM administrator or marketing technology professional with proven skills.
- The preferred candidate must have familiarity with Salesforce products be proficient in project management practices and be savvy towards technology.
- The qualified candidate is a self-starter has a high level of self-sufficiency and the ability to take direction and follow procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
