Family Services Manager
$5000 sign-on bonus

We are committed to providing high-quality child care and comprehensive education health and well-being services to children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We are now hiring a Family Services Manager to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.

YourRole:

  • Assures implementation of all program goals and objectives and ensures compliance with Performance Standards Maine Licensing and YCCAC policies.
  • Provides guidance and supervision to the ERSEA Coordinator and Family Liaisons.
  • Assures that federal and state enrollments reports are filed with accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Completes on-going monitoring of Family Engagement and ERSEA components and shares results with staff as appropriate.
  • Oversees all reports of suspected child abuse and neglect instances and updates working agreement with the Department of Human Services.
  • Works in partnership with staff to support family engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Services or related field required.
  • At least three years management experience including supervision of staff to include ability to effectively motivate and supervise employees with diverse capabilities and jobs.
  • Knowledge of Head Start ERSEA (Enrollment Recruitment Selection Eligibility Attendance) and health requirements is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and data input experience.
  • Immunized against MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis).
  • Must be able to pass a background check to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
  • Must not have an active record of the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
