Job Description
Oracle HCM Technical Consultant at QC Consulting Group LLC in Charlotte NC
Provide development services or technical support for QC customers. Develop new solutions or analyze and modify logic in existing solutions.
Duties:
- QCs HCM projects: review functional design for technical objects; build technical design; troubleshoot issues with technical objects; develop technical objects; conduct code reviews; participate in testing events.
- Emerging Technologies: review Oracle road-map for new technologies; build prototypes utilizing new technologies; review and update existing solution library to take advantage of emerging technologies; create internal documentation for training; conduct internal training sessions.
- QC Products: look for opportunities to productize existing solutions; lead QC product development activities; create product design document; guide team through the development lifecycle; unit test new products/enhancements; create and update product documentation.
Hybrid office/home work schedule.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Science or related field and 2 years work experience with:
- Oracle Cloud EBS or PeopleSoft technologies;
- SQL or PL/SQL;
- Oracle BI Publisher - report development;
- HCM Extract report development;
- Web services and APIs as in RESTful and SOAP;
- Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI);
- Relational databases (data models normalization query optimization);
- Microsoft Excel.
10% domestic travel primarily within East coast.
