Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Vice President and in accordance with company policies and procedures the Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and fostering a culture of accountability across the organization. As a trusted advisor to the Executive VP the HR Manager will support initiatives to improve overall company performance and employee engagement. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on HR functions to build a resilient and high-performing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Manage the staffing process including recruiting interviewing hiring and on-boarding
  • Ensure all company HR policies are followed and applied consistently
  • Confirm the organizations compliance with local state and federal regulations
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives. Partner with Operations leader to support and implement Safety Quality Delivery and Cost practices (SQDC)
  • Investigate employee issues/conflicts and bring them to a resolution
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys
  • Oversee benefit design and strategy to remain competitive while also being effective. Manage the open enrollment process.
  • Manage the leave of absence process and oversee Workers Compensation Insurance
  • Maintain HR Systems and processes
  • Provide leadership and daily management to HR team. Assure professional development among staff.
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Ability to communicate effectively in both the written and verbal form.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Above average computer literacy includes Microsoft Suite JazzHR and Alliance HCM (HRIS System)
  • Possess high ethical standards- personal integrity and honesty.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelors degree in business administration human resources process management or operations or Associates in a related field with 10 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment and 5 years experience in a management role.
  • Five years experience in process optimization operations or business management.
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR) is a plus.
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence in your abilities to lead organizational change.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Taniss policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Manage personnel required for projects.
