Job Description
Position Overview:
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Database Developer with hands-on experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust database solutions that support our applications and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database schemas tables views and stored procedures
- Optimize queries and database performance across SQL Server and PostgreSQL platforms
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database functionality
- Ensure data integrity security and availability
- Perform database migrations backups and recovery procedures
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Familiarity with database design principles and normalization
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS Azure SQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
