Job Description
What youll do
This role will support our Nickel business.
The Treasury Analyst will assist the Treasury Front Office Specialist on Treasury reporting and cash flow forecast managing cash and funding requirements for the Marketing business. The role will also be responsible for the Treasury back-office activities including bank accounts management settlements liquidations payment processing (including AP and Payroll transactions) Accounts Receivable documentation management and the adoption of best-in-class Treasury system and processes.
Key Task:
Daily Cash Management including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Daily Cashflow management being responsible to perform daily payables as: trading payments non-trading payments payroll payments etc) and to control cash flow T3 engaged with the Cash Flow Forecast control to help on the funding request. Monitor accuracy of actuals against forecast for the T3 and continuously refine the process to improve the quality of the forecast
- Support the Treasury Specialist on the formulation of cash and funding plans for the Marketing business in line with Group Treasury Policy
- Drive process and system improvement projects for the daily cashflow management and netback working capital processes
- Aid the Treasury Specialist to optimise the cash and transactional banking structures for Marketing
Treasury back-office activities
- Perform timeous controlled execution of settlements for Treasury and cash transactions
- Update of interest rates performing interest accruals and invoicing
- Liaise with banks on operational issues
- Bank account static data setup in relevant systems.
- Drive process and system improvement projects for trade confirmation settlement and margining processes
- Document workflow instructions detailing operating procedures
- Perform settlement processes for financial trades
- Issuance of settlement advices to relevant counterparties
- Embed back-office trade support processes for new trading activities ensuring consistency of procedures and timings.
- Facilitate the KYC/onboarding process with transactional and trading banks
Improvement projects
- Support the automation of Treasury processes including the adoption of best-in-class Treasury processes and alignment of processes with Group Treasury
- Support the implementation of a Treasury Management System for Marketing and Treasury system improvement projects
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Degree in Business Economics or Technical area
- Good understanding of trading environment
- Good knowledge of Treasury products
- Cash management skills
- Hedge accounting knowledge
- Hedging strategies (types dealing process Valuation (MTM))
- Managing banking documentation
- Results oriented capable of holding self and others to account on delivery
- Constructively engage stakeholders to a common cause through developing mutually beneficial solutions and proposals
