Roles and Responsibilities
DeliveringDirect Labour Productivity initiativesaligned with the Hoshin Kanri strategy which constitutes approximately 80% of the role.
This aspect of the position is highly self-driven offering the successful candidate the unique opportunity to identify and prioritise their own projects.
As the role is funded through the Hoshin Kanri the expectation is to deliver productivity improvements that generate returns at least four times the cost of the position.
The role provides exposure to multiple international sites within the Aviation Systems business and offers opportunities to engage with senior executive leadership fostering professional growth and development.
Collaboration with thePower Manufacturing Engineering teamsto enhance technical problem-solving capabilities.
Working closely with local value-stream leadership to ensure productivity initiatives are integrated into their business plans.
This role serves as an excellent foundation for those interested in pursuing theControlled Title-Holder (CTH) pathway providing a clear avenue for career advancement within GE Aerospace.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree (upper second-class) in a relevant Engineering discipline (or equivalent work experience).
This role requires strong experience in the Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment.
Desired Characteristics
Ability to develop CAD models for tooling and fixture design.
Strong communicator with an ability to work across and alongside production engineering and other support functions.
Comfortable working independently defining scopes of work and delivering projects in accordance with this scope.
Experience working withing GE Aerospaces FLIGHT DECK model and/or Lean manufacturing methodology (training can/will be provided).
Demonstrated ability to deliver medium-to-large scale transformation projects in a technical engineering setting.
