W Brisbane located at 81 North Quay Brisbane City is hiring a Banquets Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an operationally driven leader looking for a new adventure. The right candidate will be passionate driven and an experienced Food & Beverage guru ready to take charge of all things Catering & Events. Get ready to set the stage for epic and unforgettable experiences where meetings conferences and functions are never boring at W Brisbane. You will be responsible for but not limited to;

  • Managing the Banquets team with the preparation management and execution of events
  • Personally assist all guests by delivering on our Whatever/Whenever service promise
  • Coordinate with the Banquet Culinary team and Catering & Events Sales team to ensure the events run smoothly and to guests expectations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure
  • A great understanding of and adhere to financial controls and administrative responsibilities
  • Identify training opportunities and assist the Director of B&F and Assistant Director of B&F in training Talent according to W standards
  • Lead the team to be their best every day and maintain a positive work culture
