Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key member of our Lab Finance team supporting Echo. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon.
The successful candidate will have experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision-making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong financial modeling skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon so strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
This role can sit in Amazon offices in Seattle WA; Arlington VA; Sunnyvale CA; or Los Angeles CA.
Key job responsibilities
- Supporting product and portfolio scenario analysis with financial modeling and data-driven recommendations
- Financial budgeting planning reporting and variance analysis
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Managing program budgets
- Leading automation efforts for critical processes
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field or Bachelors degree and 3 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- MBA or CPA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
