Position Description: The Logistics Data Analyst tracks analyzes and reports on inventory and asset data to provide actionable insights that support logistics operations.
Minimum/General Experience: 3 years of experience supporting business management and analysis
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in business or related field
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong experience gathering and interpreting business goals
- Strong experience performing data analysis on inventory reports and database queries to support decision making
- Strong experience evaluating data to support logistics business metrics development
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Access SharePoint Word PowerPoint Outlook)
- Strong ability to turn complex data into easy to understand graphs charts and tables
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
- Ability to collaborate and problem-solve in a team environment

- Assignment Location - LCSRON TWO Naval Station Mayport Florida 32228
- Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
- Typing communicating repetitive motions.
- Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting.
- Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements.
Security: Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered; Ability to maintain a DoD Clearance
DoD Clearance Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:

Tasks/activities include but are not limited to:
- Assists with the development of inventory and logistics objectives and drafting deliverable plans
- Translates business goals into measurable key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Tracks ship part usage inventory levels and component movement across fleets
- Performs data analysis on reports and queries to create inventory performance metrics
- Creates graphs charts and tables to communicate inventory and logistics insights to support decision making
- Monitors inventory trends and metrics to suggest changes and/or improvements
- Supports the technical team with database process flows
- Reviews metric accuracy and consistency based on changing logistics needs
- Prepares PowerPoints on fleet logistics and inventory to present at high-level briefings
- Supports communication between stakeholders and the technical team to clarify requirements
- Supports recommendations on best practices for meeting business objectives based on metrics
- Supports the continuation of new requirements as business needs are discovered
- Collaborates closely with the technical team
Compensation & Benefits: The annual projected pay range for this position is $47222.00 - $96123.00 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications experience job responsibilities and geographic location.
