As an Lead Building Engineer you will be joining a dynamic property management team to maintain the operation and safety of several Class A office buildings! You will cultivate strong relationships with vendors tenants and the property management team daily to work collaboratively and efficiently!
Make an impact
- (Accountability) You will monitor the operating condition control parameters and supervise all maintenance of the buildings HVAC systems.
- (Accountability) You will perform unscheduled maintenance calls including routine plumbing emergencies minor equipment malfunctions hot/cold calls electrical and lighting repairs and minor structural repairs (ceiling ceramic/vinyl tile floor door etc.)
- You will oversee and assist CM/PM with onsite tenant upfits and building improvement projects.
- You will develop and maintain strong tenant and vendor relationships
- You will perform and coordinate preventive maintenance and maintain records on all building equipment
- You will be responsible for changing ceiling tiles light bulbs filters ballasts etc.
- You will proactively conduct tours of the building and grounds to look for deficiencies and coordinate/initiate repairs (Such as stained ceiling tiles slamming doors broken restroom equipment etc.)
- You will respond to emergency calls after hours on an as needed basis
- You will prioritize service calls and follow-up upon completion.
- (Responsibility) You will promote and maintain a safe work environment
- You will exhibit a strong understanding of the fire alarm panel and its operations
- You will promote and maintain energy efficiency for building operations to include but not limited to electrical water and gas consumption
- You will oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors
- Perform other duties as required
What you should bring
- You should have 5-7 five years experience in HVAC maintenance with an emphasis on preventive maintenance energy management generator operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong electrical plumbing and HVAC skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and to be a self-starter as well as a motivated team player.
- Good trouble shooting skills.

- 401K:Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
- Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
- 11 Paid Holidays per year.
- Following six (6) months of employment at the Company you will be eligible per birth adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth adoption or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
