Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
- Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
- Perform routine and complex studies and assist physician in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Accurately identify significant structures artifacts pathology and equipment limitations.
- May perform competency and skills check offs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma and graduate of Echocardiography program by hire date to position
Experience Requirements
- Minimum:None
License/Certification Requirements
Minimum:
- Registered Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac or Registered diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS certification
- Basic Life Safety (American Heart Association)
