Numeracy Intervention Assistant Havering September Start

Key responsibilities of the Numeracy Intervention Assistant:
Deliver 1:1 and small group numeracy support focused on SATs preparation
Confidently manage behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment
Employ creative and proactive teaching methods to enhance pupil progress
Maintain effective communication with parents and teaching staff
Follow curriculum guidelines while targeting individual student needs
Monitor and support pupil progress and attainment in numeracy
Collaborate flexibly and effectively as part of a supportive team
Essential requirements:
MUST hold a 1:1 or 2:1 Mathematics degree from a top 20 UK university
Strong and confident in behaviour management
Previous experience working with children in educational settings preferred
Excellent communication skills for liaising with parents and staff
Proactive creative adaptable and a committed team player
