Job Description
Were looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to help us build and maintain high-performing user-focused online experiences. This role requires someone who can seamlessly translate business goals into functional digital solutions with technical precision creative adaptability and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customize and maintain eCommerce websites and applications with a focus on performance security and UX.
- Collaborate with clients designers and project managers to understand business objectives and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing debugging and QA for seamless functionality across browsers and devices.
- Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce technologies platforms and trends.
- Optimize websites for speed SEO and conversion following best coding practices.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functionality/integration issues for a smooth user shopping experience.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Shopify especially with nuanced features like metafields versus tags. Ability to implement and adapt solutions based on specific business logic.
- Experience customizing Shopify for products with manual quoting processes and handling high-volume sales environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Secure payment gateway setup including PCI compliance.
- Version control experience (Git preferred).
Ideal Profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fieldor equivalent practical experience.
- Proven success in implementing and maintaining Shopify-based eCommerce stores.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
