Informaticist

Informaticist needed for Valley Views IT team!

General Objectives:

Train and support clinicians in inpatient settings on clinical information systems and EHRs. Act as a liaison between healthcare staff and IT to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs. Develop implement and advise user-centric solutions based on business and clinical needs. Promote user-friendly patient-centric innovations to improve patient outcomes and enhance clinical workflows. This is a primarily onsite position with the opportunity for remote work.

Qualifications

Education

• A bachelors degree in healthcare or related field is required.

Licensure:

• Clinical licensure recognized to qualify for position: OT PT RDN RN or RT

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare business process/operational knowledge/acumen or equivalent.
• Experience and/or strong understanding of working in a clinical setting particularly in acute care.

Skills:

• Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies.

• Exceptional analysis problem-solving documentation and training skills.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with remote work tools and project management.
• Ability to coordinate methods for optimal results and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and the ability to influence at the provider level.

Preferred:

• Experience in education/training.
• Informatics Certification.

SALARY RANGE

• $36.76to$54.06/hour

Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience
