DevOps Engineer Internal Position for EdTech Project

We are a team of 130 engineers (fullstack backend frontend QA PMs mobile devsand 2 amazing DevOps). The company has been around for 15 years and many of us have grown with it (I joined 12 years ago as an iOS developer and now lead Talent Acquisition).

The Project
Were building the CMS and learning platform behind a non-profit initiative helping teachers deliver cognitively engaging lessons. 13 engineers are already working on the projectand now were looking for a DevOps Engineer to complete the team.

What Youll Do

• Take ownership of DevOps workflows within the project

• Build and maintain container-based infrastructure (Docker Kubernetes)

• Ensure cloud resources in AWS (EC2 S3 Route53 Load Balancers) are performant secure and scalable

• Implement and maintain observability tools (DataDog)

• Automate deployments using GitHub Actions

• Support developers to streamline CI/CD and infrastructure as code

What Were Looking For

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services: EC2 S3 Route53 Load Balancers
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes Docker)

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD best practices

• Experience with monitoring and observability (preferably DataDog)

• A pragmatic mindset and clear communication
