Description

As a product auditor on the Quality team in BAWA Waco TX you will perform quality inspections to ensure our machines meet specifications. You will document quality issues into a computer system and flag any found defects for repairs.

Job duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform quality inspection based on the check- list of inspection points/procedures

  • Complete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools electrical tests templates etc.)

  • Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection

  • Inspects products to ensure it meets the specifications

  • Document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair

  • Calibration of assembly tools

  • Process time studies and audits as needed for quality improvements

  • Cross-functional communication to complete tasks

  • Contributing team member

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

  • Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

  • Ability to perform repetitive operations

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 year of mechanical assembly experience

  • Experience in SAP software

  • Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

Top candidates will also have:

  • Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with inspection and product auditing processes

  • Intermediate proficiency with measurement equipment and gauges

  • Strong working knowledge of Assembly/Manufacturing practices

  • Advanced problem solving/troubleshooting ability

  • Ability to follow Standard Work

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Heavy equipment experience

Additional Information:This is a 1st shift hourly position in Waco TX with theBAWA (BCP Assembly Waco Attachment) group.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm; Overtime on Fridays as needed (up to 8 hours).

Summary Pay Range:

$20.70 - $26.90
