This position is classified as an Administrative Specialist II. Work in this position will be split between the Enterprise Administration office located at 2020 Yonkers Road Raleigh NC and the Nash Print Plant located at 2869 US Hwy 64 Alt. Nashville NC with at least one day at each location per week.
The primary purpose of Correction Enterprise Customer Service Department is to promote inmate manufactured products to a wide variety of tax-supported entities. This position works in print customer service providing customer support for NCCEs most demanding and exacting product manufactured. This position supports the Print Sales Person position and thus needs to be familiar with all aspects of print customer service. This position must possess good communication and organizational skills as orders must be processed in an expeditious manner. This position must be able to work within critical and demanding timeframes. Must be organized and able to use time wisely and efficiently. This position has a moderate amount of phone contact with customers. This position is responsible for providing general product information as well as procedural information for ordering delivering and pricing of the printing services. This position must be knowledgeable of technical printing specifications to be able to effectively communicate with the manufacturing plant and customers. This position develops and maintains a top-quality interface when dealing with both internal and external customers. This position will work directly with be among train and/or supervise state prison offenders and understand and be willing to ensure compliance with policies governing such activities.
