How you will make contributions that matter...
- In accordance with SOPs and customers specifications stage weigh and record all batch ingredients.
- Mix and blend wet/dry ingredients in accordance with product mix/batch sheet specifications.
- Record all ingredient usage using location ERP system.
- Collect pre-blend and final product samples as required. Perform all required batch analytical testing. Report any product deviations to the department supervisor.
- Follow all allergen protocols.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
- Operate tanks pumps and blend operations equipment.
- Perform equipment clean-up CIP/SIP operations.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments.
- Safe operation of a lift truck.
- Accurately and neatly complete batch records system data entry and documentation.
- Perform all department environmental controls.
- Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
- Follow all established GMPs and Food Safety requirements.
- Effective coordination and cooperation with other departments.
- Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
- Comply with federal state and local dairy food regulations.
- Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.
- Work together as a team.
- Other duties as required by management.
You are best suited for the role if you
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong math skills.
- Software skills to include MS Office Excel and ERP software SAP preferred.
- Strong technical skills ability to operate and understand equipment controls touch panels and mechanical operations.
- Demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus but not required.
- A working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF QA/QC CQP QAP HACCP SOP5S GMP etc.).
- Lift truck certification or the ability to obtain (training is provided)
- Successful completion of drug screen andbackground check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated work history.
- Good attendance is a must.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise changing temperatures (hot wet cold humid) standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
- Working with chemicals wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
- Physical lifting up to 50-lbs frequently throughout the shift.

- Shift flexibility. This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Our blend operators are assigned to a team in support of dairy operations. This can either be rotating shifts days swing or night shift and weekends. Work days and shifts may change to help cover vacations/absences during plant downtime or related events such as audits.
Schedule: 6pm-6:30am
Rate: $25.00/hr $1.50/hr shift differential
