Zetas Corporate Development team is a critical and high-caliber team focused on the top strategic priorities for Zeta. The team is responsible for driving M&A and corporate development initiatives and working closely with senior leaders in Zetas Business Units. This is a high-profile team working with a diverse mix of both internal and external stakeholders.
Zeta is seeking highly motivated Manager Corporate Development to be based in Zetas Los Angeles CA office. As a Manager Corporate Development you will operate as a trusted strategic partner to business group leaders and their teams and proactively and effectively influence existing business strategies and growth initiatives. We are looking for a strategic thinker to develop rationale financial models business cases in support of transactions deal concepts diligences and effectively partners with the Business Leads in the execution of transactions.
The successful candidate requires discretion and complete confidentiality and must ensure that internal and external communications are handled in a professional manner. This is a hybrid position based out of Los Angeles CA and may require work outside traditional office hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the business team to identify assess and pursue new external opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Identify new opportunities and collaborate with internal partners in vetting new and existing technologies building business cases leading diligence processes and executing transactions.
- Manage post-deal integration and tracking.
- Support enterprise-wide business development activities through financial and market analysis or modeling and slide deck preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with key internal partners including working with legal teams heads of business procurement operations on defining negotiating and approving contractual terms.
- Communicate clearly and consistently across a matrixed organization.
- Responsible for identifying project requirements preparing schedules & agendas managing and/or preparing project presentations other deliverables and costs.
- Manage and develop analysts on the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate development venture capital private equity investment banking or M&A advisory for a Big4.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment and groom high-caliber talent on an accelerated career trajectory.
- Proven ability to manage complex M&A and other transactions working with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Exceptional quantitative skills and financial acumen.
- Ability to develop deep trust-based relationships and influence different stakeholder groups directly and indirectly.
- Ability to effectively balance multiple simultaneous priorities and deadlines with tight timelines.
- Exceptional problem-solving decision-making and quantitative skills.
- Self-starter and comfort with ambiguity; must be self-directed and proactive starting day 1 on the job.
- Persuasive communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelors Degree Required.
This is a hybrid role based out of our El Segundo CA office.

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $160000 - $185000depending on location and experience.
