The Role:
This is a fixed-term contract role within the newly formed Transaction Support Finance team. The team is responsible for Group Finances involvement in investment activities including acquisitions and disposals and plays a pivotal role in executing Landsecs newly announced strategy.

The Team:
You will be a part of Group Finance team.
What you will be responsible for:
Assist in executing key strategic investment transactions collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation (e.g. legal tax investments commercial and group finance company secretariat and various real estate teams).
Prepare financial outputsto support the delivery of the corporate restructuring step plan including:
Management accounts
Dissolution accounts
Statutory accounts
Completion statements
Other financial transactions such as intra-group dividends capital reductions and recapitalizations
Ensure accurate financial reportingof transactions including journal entries metadata and system updates across Group consolidated reporting company statutory reporting and joint venture reporting.
Coordinate with finance teamsto ensure all aspects of a transaction are actioned reviewed and signed off by department heads.
Collaborate with the Groups external auditorsto resolve technical accounting matters including preparing transaction accounting papers.
Participate in the financial due diligence processfor prospective buyers working closely with key stakeholders across the organization.
Systems & Processes
Maintain a strong control environmentby ensuring departmental housekeeping including filing accounts with regulators record maintenance and internal control procedures.

Essential criteria
Accountancy Qualification
Good understanding of IFRS
Ability to deliver quality work to tight deadlines
Ability to prioritise workload to deliver on overlapping/conflicting deadline
Good Excel and Word skills
