JOB TITLE:
Facility Employee
Campus Recreation serves students Faculty and staff as well as peers to promote a fun and healthy environment.
Campus Recreation connects with the campus community to promote health and wellbeing in all aspects of wellness.
Job location: Campus Recreation Facilities
Pay rate or range: $12/hour

JOB PURPOSE:
Provide a safe and clean environment for Half Acre patrons to recreate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Oversee main workout area to ensure safety of all users
- Enforce facility policies
- Routinely clean equipment and various facility spaces
- Assist in providing towel service
- Assist with restocking cleaning supplies
- Check out day-use equipment
- Assist Recreation Staff with daily operational tasks
- Effectively communicate with other Campus Recreation staff
- Other job duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES:
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated
- Energetic personality
- Previous experience in the recreation industry
- Previous experience in a customer service role
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current UWYO Student
Must be eligible have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Education: High School diploma (or GED) current UW student
Experience: No experience required
EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS:

- Professional conduct experience
