Job Description
Community Living Specialist - Bi-Annual Retention Bonuses!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Community Living Specialist at DSC you will be responsible for assessing individual needs and providing ongoing personal support and guidance with all areas of daily living. This includes developing implementing and modifying Individual Support Plans (ISPs) scheduling transporting and participating in medical dental psychiatric and diagnostic appointments and providing financial oversight and monitoring as Representative Payee.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge understanding and the ability to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Polished interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to undertake responsibility take initiative and to structure and arrange own schedule within assigned work hours. Available to work a variety of hours including participation in the agency on call emergency response pager system.
Successful completion of agency training within 90 days of hire.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation with adequate insurance to cover transportation of individuals.
HOURS:
40 hours a week
