Role Overview
As a Revenue Analyst you perform extensive quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the revenue management team and drive improvements to the revenue management processes. Multiple responsibilities including supporting/managing a portfolio of 10-15 communities oversight and/or direct ownership of projects that monitoring revenue performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth within various regional portfolios. You will also take the lead on numerous projects and initiatives as Cortland continues to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions. Here are the roles youll play:
The Revenue Specialist
- Utilize data to assess trends and alert leadership of potential risks and opportunities
- Support revenue team through ownership of administrative and support functions including the generation and management of renewal process
- Support revenue growth efforts in alignment with asset strategies through demonstration of strong data and analysis skills
- Strengthen your awareness of revenue objectives across the organization through curiosity and strong partnerships
- Identify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives and business strategies
- Partner with revenue operations leadership to identify and document needed policies and procedures ensure compliance
- Support revenue management inventory and pricing for a portfolio of 10 to 15 multi-family assets
The Task Manager
- Manage RM support ticket system
- Identify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives and business strategies
- Assist in day-to day projects and assignments
- Prepare reports and briefings as needed
- Prepare numbers and present your findings to RM team
- Provide administrative support and other required assistance
- Manage and participate in special projects as needed

- Operations staff members utilize your findings to identify areas of concern and fix them so their assets can perform at their highest revenue potential.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in data analysis economics or statistics or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
- 1 years experience in revenue management data analysis economics statistics or related role preferred
- Multi Family Operations or Financial Management preferred
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity adaptability and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently at a fast pace
- Data visualization experience with Power BI Tableau or similar software preferred
- SLQ experience preferred
