Job Description:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs to develop technology solutions that align with strategic objectives. This role requires experience in business process reengineering and the ability to identify and apply innovative technology solutions to enhance business effectiveness. The analyst must be proficient in industry-standard process mapping and documentation practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed analysis of business requirements and systems.
- Designing solutions aligned with overall business strategies.
- Creating business process models and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Performing risk assessments and financial analyses including cost/benefit ROI and build vs. buy evaluations.
- Developing detailed functional documentation to support system development or enhancement.
The candidate will work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment supporting major modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing Medicaid systems. The role includes oversight of IT-contracted Medicaid systems coordination of integrated project activities and close collaboration with various Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience reviewing analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs. (Required)
- 4 years of experience working in an Agile environment. (Required)
- 2 years of experience with Texas HHSC processes and Medicaid/CHIP systems. (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. (Preferred)
