Job Description
The Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is actively recruiting qualified candidates for a faculty position for a general pediatric otolaryngologist in the Northern Dallas region. An interest in pediatric sinus and head & neck disorders preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a pediatric otolaryngology practice and will practice at the satellite locations in the Northern Dallas region.
Individuals applying for these positions must hold a clinical doctorate such as a M.D. or D.O. and completed postgraduate residency training and pediatric otolaryngology fellowship. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology and be eligible for a Texas medical license. UT Southwestern offers a fertile practice environment a well-established department and a strong academic community.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215 which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research work on or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
